Following the clubs 10th Annual General Meeting in december last year, Sydney University Touch has a slightly revamped committee.
Kate 'Nelly' Gammel was once again appointed as club President in this her second year in the role. Kate will be supported by Vice Presidents Lucy Clay & Nick Bruce, Secretary Abid Mujala and Treasurer Paul 'Victa' Hickey.

10TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Sydney University Touch wishes to advise that the 10th Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 17th December 2009.
NB: Due to refurbishments at the Arena the meeting will now take place at 6pm in the Noel Martin Recreation Centre. (Above the swimming Pool)
INTER-FACULTY TOUCH
Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness will be conducting Inter-Faculty Touch this Wednesday 18th March from 11am-4pm at the square (main Campus).
If you would like to play then you need to contact your Faculty Representative.

TOUCH AGM 2008/09
The 2008/09 Sydney University Touch Club AGM is scheduled to be held on Tuesday 16th December 2008.

INTER-FACULTY TOUCH
On Wednesday August 13th Sydney University Sport & Fitness will be running the Mixed Touch Footy competition. It's free and open to all students. All games will take place on The Square from 11am-4pm.

END OF AN ERA
Sydney University Sport, one of Australia’s pre-eminent sporting bodies, will farewell its Executive Director Mr Greg Harris at the end of the month after 16 years in office.
During his tenure, Mr Harris has been involved with many initiatives, including the establishment of the Elite Entry Athlete program which now offers over 200 sporting scholarships annually, the $6.5 million redevelopment of the Sports and Aquatic Centre, the amalgamation of the Sports Union and the Women’s Sports Association and a Memorandum of Association with the NSW Institute of Sport.
BRUCE ROSS SUCCESSFUL IN SYDNEY UNI SPORT ELECTION
Incumbent President Mr Bruce Ross was re-elected as Sydney Uni Sport President on Monday 30th of April 2007. Ms Denise Wee was re-elected as Female Vice President, and Mr Charles Perry as Male Vice President.
President Bruce Ross stated that this was the most significant electoral challenge he had faced in his 16 years as President.

Notice is hereby given that the 7th Annual General Meeting of the Sydney University Touch Club will be held on Monday 5th March 2007
NB: Time has now changed to 8pm start and the venue is the Landowne Hotel (CNR City Rd and Broadway)

In order to conform with the new SU Sport membership conditions, we will also use this meeting to adopt a revised constitution. A copy of the amended constitution will be available here shortly.

NEW MEMBERSHIP STRUCTURE FOR 2007
With the introduction of Voluntary Student Unionism, students of Sydney University will no longer be automatic members of SU Sport upon payment of student fees.
As a result, SU Sport has reduced the $148 compulsary fee to a more viable rate of $55 for students and community members.
Life Memberships will continue to be honoured and all members will be eligible for a range of benefits not previously offered.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The club hereby gives notice that the 6th Annual General Meeting of the Sydney University Touch Club will be held on Wednesday 12th April 2006 at Sydney University Village. The meeting will commence at 7.00pm in Meeting Room 4.
We encourage all members of the club to be present at this meeting. The club is currently experiencing a huge growth and your input is valued. Dinner and refreshments will be provided for those who attend the meeting.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR 2006
The University of Sydney through Sydney Uni Sport offers Sports Scholarships to students either entering or continuing a course at the University in 2006. Sydney University Sport is once again offering scholarships to talented athletes for a number of sports including Touch
CRIM & VICTA RECEIVE GOLDS, BONNITCHA TOP BLUE
Last night was the Annual Sydney University Sport Blues Dinner, where the 2005 batch of Athletes who have achieved the University's highest sporting award are inducted.While the Touch club is yet to have a Blue awarded, last night both Paul Hickey and Gary Reynolds were awarded Golds for their services to sport at the University of Sydney.
Jacqui Bonnitcha, current Gecko, was awarded a Blue in Sailing - and as World Champion was an excellent choice for the trophy for being the Female Blue of the Year.

There are several up and coming 1 day first aid courses left for 2005.Make sure you are First Aid qualified for the looming summer holidays as you will never know when you’ll need it.
SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING - TUESDAY 4TH OCTOBER
Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of Sydney University Sport is to be held on Tuesday 4th October 2005 in the Bruce Williams Pavilion commencing at 6.00pm.All eligible club members (undergraduates and life members) are invited to attend. Student cards and/or life member badges must be shown to gain admission. Associate and restricted associate members have no voting rights so they are not allowed to attend.
INTERFACULTY TOUCH DAY
Well it is on again, a day when it is mate V mate in an intense sporting competition that would make the state of origin jealous. Yes it is time once again for interfaculty touch to be held this semester.
VSU RALLY - THURSDAY 28TH APRIL
Student services are under threat from the proposed VSU legislation. If the legislation is passed as it is, campus life as we know it, will be lost. Sporting facilities, university games, social competitions, club alotments, administrative support, scholarships, discount club fees and gym membership will all suffer. Sydney University Sport proposes an amendment to the bill that will reduce the impact of VSU on university sport.Show your support for Sydney University Sport by donning your blue and gold colours at the rally on Thursday 28 April, 12 noon on the front lawn.
REPRESENTATIVE CONVENOR APPOINTED
We are pleased to announce that Andrew Lees has been appointed as the club's Representative Convenor for the 2005 season. He has recently commenced working with the New South Wales Touch Association as a State Development Officer for the City regions.In 2004 Andrew accepted the role as our Mens U23 Coach for the Sydney Championships, and was an assistant Coach for the Hornets Mixed team at the 2004 National Touch League.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2005
Each year Sydney Uni Sport offers scholarships to numerous elite athletes for a variety of sports. Members of Sydney University Touch Club have been recieving scholarships for the last three years.
FESTIVAL OF WOMENS SPORT - THIS SATURDAY 27TH NOVEMBER
This Saturday, Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre plays host to Sydney University's three Women's National League Clubs.
1:30pm - Sydney Uni Lions Waterpolo take on Cronulla which should be a hot contest in the pool.
4:30pm - Sydney Uni Lions Volleyball are out to teach UTS a lesson before they head off to the AVL Finals in Melbourne.
7:00pm - Sydney Uni Flames Basketball try to build their winning streak when they take on the Townsville Fire.

O-WEEK, YEAR OF THE LION
O-Week for 2004 was a huge success this year with about 150 new members signing up with the club on Wednesday and Thursday. I would like to welcome everyone to the club that signed up during the week and hopefully we will see more of you in the upcoming weeks.
Furthermore we signed up possibly 12 more teams for the competition on Mondays. Team lists will be finalised in the next day or two, but we expect that there will be over 250 people in 24 teams now participating every Monday night at Wentworth Park.
I would like to thank Liss & Squirrel for their help and a huge thanks to Kicks for turning up on both days.
AUG VICTORY PARTY
This Friday the 17th October, Su Sport will be holding the Victory Party for all the Athletes that attended AUG's in Newcastle. The festivities Kick off at 5pm at the Grandstand and will also include awards for interfaculty sport.So if you are interested in drinking beer from the AUG Victory Trophy, as well as from schooner glasses, then head on down. Unfortunately USYD touch won’t have a large appearance as we have an important Sydney Champs game on at Westmead at 7pm.
INTER-FACULTY TOUCH
This Year will for the first time, see both mens and womens touch being played on the same day for an interfaculty sports comp. On Thursday the 18th September teams from faculties all over the uni will compete for points to attempt to wrestle the interfaculty 'Emily Small Shield' away from the claws of the Bovine, anal cavity, loving Vet students.

AUG VICTORY PARTY
This Friday, SUSU and SUWSA are holding the 2002 AUG Victory Party, and they will also award the 2002 interfaculty sport awards for mens and womens interfaculty sport.
VET SCIENCE HOPES TO GO BACK TO BACK

Last Year saw the annual Womens Interfaculty Touch Competition being won by a ferocious Vet Science squad. With a similar team being led by club legends, Package and Macca they are looking to make it a back to back whitewash in 2002.Read on for the low down on this years competition

SUSU CALL A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
A Special General Meeting will be held in the Hugh McCredie Clubrooms of the Bruce Williams Pavilion (The Grandstand) on Tuesday, 3rd September 2002 at 6pm.The business of the meeting will be to vote on Resolutions to achieve the merger of the two sports bodies, Sydney University Sports Union and Sydney University Women’s Sports Association.
