The Sydney University Touch Club social season kicks off with a bang with our annual pub crawl. Check out the Facebook Video.

The Touch Club's Annual Crab Racing event will be held in conjunction with the Winter Competition presentation evening. We have moved to a new venue this year, which will guarantee that the night is even bigger and better than ever!

Cheap drinks and awesome tunes will make this a night to remember! So get your team mates together and come along and support the Touch Club.

The first touch social event of 2008 is going to be A-mazing and must not be missed! Its a great opportunity to get to know your team mates and meet the rest of the touch crew. So, get your mates together, make the best toga possible (out of your bed sheets) and head on down to Newtown.

Unfortunately due to the outbreak of the "Crab Flu" the form guide will not be available until Saturday night! The first race jumps at 7.10pm, so it would be a good idea to arrive around 6.30pm which will allow you adequate time to study the form guide!

Presentations for the Winter Competitiion will occur between races.

There has NOT been a sanctioned Touch football Pub crawl since 2002!! So you don't want to miss out on this one (or you may be waiting till 2012)! What better way to celebrate the start of semester 2, catch up with all your ECCs team mates or just get b-lind, then on a pub crawl!

Theme: Pub Bowls (Similar to Pub Golf, however you compete as a team of four. Basically the team that lasts the longest wins... official rules, scorecards, and itinary will be released closer to the date)

NB: If you ordered a shirt these will be available for collection at the Landsdowne from 6.30.

This year's Harbour Cruise is going to be even bigger and better than 2006 with Sydney Uni Touch combining with both Macquarie Uni and UTS Touch clubs.

The night will be a great chance to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones and of course improve the inter-club relations. So get your tickets quickly to reserve your spot on the party boat!

The first social event of the touch club’s 2007 calendar is on this Wednesday, 14th at The Friend in Hand Hotel, (58 Cowper St, Glebe)

It starts at 7.30pm with a cheap beer and wine promo for touch club members. A casual affair but there is also crab racing there for a bit of fun and thrills.

Come and meet up with all the old friends and make a few new ones before the comp begins on Monday 19th March.

Jingle Bowls, a day of fun, drinks and celebration in true christmas spirit. Get dressed up in christmas kit, make a team of 4 and come along for a few beers and a few bowls. The day caters for all skill levels and includes prizes for best dressed teams.

It's on Sunday 17th December from 3-5pm at Alexandria/Erskinville Bowling Club. The cost is $10pp. To be a part of it you need to send an email to victa@touch.asn.au and you may enter in either a team of four or as a single. Spaces are limited and so it's first in best dressed. Of course everyone is welcome to come along and join in on the festivities even if they don't want to have a roll.

On Saturday 9th September, the Sydney University Touch Club will be conducting a Crab Racing evening as a fundraiser for our representative teams which are currently competing in the Vawdon Cup on Friday nights. Once this tournament is over, they will then be competing at the State Cup in Port Macquarie in December.

The Night will also act as the Presentation Evening for the 2006 Winter Competition. All winning teams from for each division will be able to collect their prizes. If your team is looking for a night to get together and celebrate or commiserate the season that was then crab racing night is perfect. There will also be awards for Player of the finals, Referee Awards and lucky door prizes.

Sydney Uni Touch and Netball have combined and are throwing a huge post EUG party and we want you and all your friends/team mates to come along and relive the memories of uni games, plus create a few new ones.

Bring all your friends for a night that will rekindle the week that was Uni Games.

After the success of last years inaugural event we are once again holding a Christmas function. Jingle Bowls is on again at Ashfield Bowling Club on Sunday 11th December, from 1pm

The afternoon will also act as the retirement function for departing club President Gary 'Crim' Reynolds.

A massive thank-you to everyone that came along to the Inaugural Sydney Uni Crab Races. The night was a huge success, with everyone having a great time.

Not only was it enjoyable, but we also managed to raise in the order of $600 to go towards our Representative Programme.

Keep an eye on the photo album in the next few days for some pictures from the night.

What's that you say? You hate christmas time because everyone has heaps of parties to go to, but you're a loser with no life outside of touch so ba humbug? Well Leesy, guess what... Sydney Uni Touch is having a Christmas Party/Lawn Bowls day at Ashfield Bowling Club on Sunday 19th December from 1pm onward, and the whole family is invited!

Saturday 19th June - Tickets $10

Following the successful completion of our Summer Competition, it is time for all participants to let their hair down and come along to the presentation night at nearby bar, the Australian Youth Hotel.

We hope that as many teams as possible will come along to this event and have a drink and a chat with the rest of the players in the comp.

The night will begin at 6.00pm with cocktail food and a bar tab, with the formalities getting underway at around 7.30pm.

2003 is here, holidays are over and uni is back in swing. Bummer hey!

Well here are the plans for a big night to help you put aside your uni books and get completely intoxicated with a bunch of old and new friends. Yes people, Syd Uni Touch club is holding its first social event for the year and they need YOU to come along.

Please make every attempt to get along to the Friend In Hand pub in Glebe this Friday 21st March.

The action will go from 7pm-12, when we will no doubt kick on into the wee hours.

SO IT IS ALL ON FOR A PUB CRAWL ON THURSDAY 5TH DECEMBER.

A bit of a final fling for the year, and what better way to do it than a game of Pub Golf. Starting at the Friend in Hand at 7pm and onwards from there. Details below

As most of you know, Bunyip's time down under is coming to an end. He is leaving in early August to go back to England, and we want to send him off with a huge night on the turps.

We'd like to thank Mick and the team down at the Friend in Hand, Glebe for continuing our sponsorship in 2002.

The pub has kindly donated $1100 to the club so we can purchase our playing shirts, which will hopefully last a couple of years.

We are planning another shin-dig for Friday the 31st May at the Friend In Hand, Glebe. We are hoping to get the Jolly-Jug promotion happening again, but more news soon.

Hopefully the event will be able to run in conjunction with a trial game for those playing at Eastern University Games against Macquarie Uni - however if the games fall through, we'll just drink up instead... it's all training!
