Following the Touch Club's 9th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday night, we get a chance to farewell Scrubba as outgoing President of the last two years and at the same time welcome and congratulate our newly elected President for 2009.

Kate 'Nelly' Gammel was elected as President and will head a new look committee for next year that consists of Tom McNamarra and Lucy Clay as Vice Presidents, Kirsten Coggins as Secretary and Pete Mossemenear as Treasurer.

Nelly will be undertaking her third year of Education/Human Movement in 2009 and when asked about the new appointment stated "I feel like I have big shoes to fill, but Scrubba has done some great work in building the club over the last two years and I'm glad I will get a chance to capitalise on that." Nelly is also looking forward to working with her committee in 2009 to create some strong social programs for new members.

It is also at this time that we should thank outgoing committee members for 2008 for their efforts throughout the last few years. Along with Helen Scott, previous committee members Yoni Charlupski, Anna Floyd and Gary Reynolds have all provided Sydney University Touch with several years of service and thier work is greatly appreciated.
