With just two rounds remaining to be played in the Sydney University Touch Summer season, there is plenty of competition for a place in the finals.

In each there are six teams with a mathematical chance of making the four, and only the Zetland Zebra's  in the Mixed Gold have secured the minor premiership (although the Gecko's in Mixed Blue are strong favourites to take this out).

Round 13 Preview - Mixed Blue

In the Mixed Blue, it is too tough to pick the match of the round, as the top six all go head-to-head with plenty on the line in each fixture.

At 6.30pm The Alfred Hotel will take on The New Hope. In their earlier encounter this season the full time siren saw the match result in a 9-all draw. Both teams like to attack, and this could be another high scoring affair if both teams come ready to run.

The match up between Tribe of Your Life and Cobras at 7.15pm is do or die for both teams.  Both teams are within striking distance of the four, and a draw will do neither team any favours. Defence should be the aim in this match, as a win to nil to gather the defensive bonus point could be valuable coming into the final round.

Finally, the Geckos vs Ultimo Black Knights fixture will round out the night at 8pm. A win for the Geckos will cement their number one position, while a win for the Knights will guarantee them a finals berth.  If nothing else, this will be an entertaining game as the majority of players from each team will be touring to Yass together for the Australia Day weekend.
